The Deerfield Valley Health Care Volunteers (DVHCV), sponsors of Art on The Mountain (AOTM), offer annual scholarships (up to $1000) to full-time students pursuing careers in the health care industry. The DVHCV is a not-for-profit organization which raises money through volunteer efforts for the benefit of the Deerfield Valley communities – Wilmington, Whitingham, Halifax, Readsboro, Dover and Wardsboro. Historically, the Art on the Mountain summer festival raised the bulk of the scholarship money. We continue to look for a venue for this show. The students must live in the Deerfield Valley in order to apply for the scholarship. Scholarships are awarded in the spring. Click here for the 2011/12 application form. The deadline is May 2, 2011.
